Woo Hoo...The Rain Is Gone!

YAY!! The rain is gone...for now anyway. The sun has been out off and on today and it's a warm 68 degrees F. I wish it felt this way all the time.

Yesterday on Nichole's blog ...she had some hilarious, time-sucking links to share. I spent a lot of time on the 3rd link...too funny! If you need a good laugh, it's a great place to check out.

Photo taken by William Smith...Sunset...The Cape in South Africa

I received this photo in an email today. It was just so beautiful...I had to share it. It was taken by my friend's son in South Africa. Shirley and I have become very good friends and have adopted each others families. Will went back to school this past week and sent his American "Aunty" Mel this photo. I'm sure I'm not the only one who never realized what a beautiful country it is.

Going back to my corner to knit now. :)

That is a beautiful photo. Thanks for sharing. Also, I'm sorry I am so slow. The book will be going in tomorrow's post (I kept forgetting to get a mailer!) I do hope you enjoy it!

The rain is just starting for us here. It's so gloomy out right now. I'll be in your neck of the woods soon. I'm heading to Florence for a mini family reunion on the 15th. Know of any good yarn shops around there?

I'm so jealous of the warm weather... we had nice pretty and warm weather in Oklahoma, Then we got nasty rain and now's it's freezing!!! Argh!

Beautiful photo :)

Beautiful sunset picture. Hoped in from...gees forgot. Been out blog walking this morning and don't remember how I found myself here. Hope I left enough bread crumbs I can find my way back....tsk tsk muttering to self now.

Hope you have a good day, stop in for a visit. Welcome mats always out.

We have rain today, but the temps are supposed to drop over night to leave us with more snow by morning!

It's very hard to stay focused on just one project with all that you see everywhere. It's takes a lot of self control, but I do think it helps not to get too distracted. Hurry up and finish the 2nd duck so we can see
what the next toy will be...I know stop pestering you ;)

happy knitting :)
